With over 30 years of experience, Kim, is a master hairstylist who prioritizes exceptional customer service and ongoing education. In 2008, she turned her dream of owning a studio into reality and has since built what Techniks is today. Kim’s passion for beauty and empowering clients is at the heart of her work. As the proud owner of a women-led studio, she takes great pride in supporting and guiding this team of skilled women. Kim warmly welcomes new clients, offering top-notch service and professionalism every time.

Jen’s journey in hairdressing began in high school and led her to her first apprenticeship at Cindy & Co Hair Salon when she was in grade 11. After gaining six years of experience, she took a break to travel and explore Australia and Southeast Asia. After returning from her time abroad, Jen found her professional home at Techniks, where she has been ever since. While she excels in all areas of hairstyling, Jen has a particular passion for expressing her creativity through formal and updo styles. Her clients adore her and return time and time again, keeping her fully booked. As a result, she is not accepting new clients at this time.

With over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sasha is a highly skilled hair artist specializing in blonding, ombré, and balayage. Her artistic eye and precision allow her to create flawless styles that enhance each client’s natural beauty. With her bubbly, outgoing personality, Sasha makes every salon visit a fun and positive experience. She loves connecting with new clients and will create a hairstyle that perfectly suits your lifestyle and personality. 

As top student in her class, Cassia graduated from John Casablancas Institute in 2021 and has been a valued member of the Techniks team ever since. Her styling has been featured in multiple magazines, showcasing her talent and creativity. Cassia specializes in highlighting and colouring techniques that deliver fresh, vibrant results while maintaining a natural, effortless look. She also excels at men’s cuts, from longer flowy styles to clean fades. Outside of the salon, she also offers eyelash extension services from home.

Jazmyn is a John Casablancas Institute graduate who completed the Hair Art Design program in 2021 and brings a deep passion for the beauty industry. She finds great joy in seeing the happiness on clients’ faces when they achieve their desired look. Driven by a desire to continually learn, grow, and unleash her creativity, Jazmyn is building a thriving career as a stylist at Techniks. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you look and feel your best.

Nafiseh brings over six years of experience in the beauty industry, having worked in both Iran and Ukraine. Along with her hairdressing skills, she specializes in threading, providing a precise and comfortable alternative to traditional waxing. Nafiseh enjoys creating a variety of blonde and brunette balayages for women, while also delivering styled cuts for men. Her diverse skill set makes her a versatile and excellent member of the team.

Camilla is a graduate of John Casablancas Institute, and brings extensive expertise and a passion for staying ahead of the latest trends. She is constantly creating engaging content that showcases her stunning work. Specializing in highlights and hair extensions, she ensures each client achieves a polished, sophisticated look tailored to their individual style. Camilla’s attention to detail and dedication to quality make her a standout in the salon.

With over 20 years of experience, Caroline is a talented esthetician who combines expert knowledge with a warm, welcoming personality. Caroline offers a variety of services, including facials, massage, manicures, pedicures, and hair removal. She offers both traditional waxing and her specialty, Alexandria Sugaring. While both are effective hair removal methods, sugaring is an all-natural, gentler alternative to waxing. In addition to her spa services, Caroline is also a skilled lash and brow artist, offering shaping, tinting, and the popular Yumi Lash Lifts.

Julia Linford is a Holistic Wellness Spa Consultant, trainer , facial and body treatment expert and natural skin care developer for over 30 years. Her career has taken her around the globe helping spas transform into a more holistic approach. Having managed spas at The Westin Grand, Cayman Island, Shangri-la Hotel, Vancouver and having owned her own Spa for 20 years, she has mastered going beyond your traditional spa experience and designs unique and memorable treatment offerings. Her philosophy is harmonizing body and mind both physically and spiritually.
